Easter Egg Graded Meet 2006

The Easter period is characterised by
lots of high level open meets for those seeking National Qualifying
times. This is NOT one of those meets. This is a meet for the rest. In fact we will not award medals to anyone who swims faster that the qualifying times for the Hampshire County championships. We do award impressive "speeding tickets" to those who go too fast. This is a friendly meet. For the benefit of novices, we start with a demonstration start. We don't have formal coach passes. As an indication of the swimmers we are aiming for, we have changed our meet to the recently introduced Level 4. Times are still valid for qualification for County and District competitions and will appear in the National rankings. This is a "real" meet. We do have
full electronic timing and we have a reputation for running an efficient
competition. |
