Coach Steve Says Farewell To BBFS

It is with regret that we say a fond farewell to Coach Steve Greenfield, who will be leaving Bluefins to take up the Age Group Performance Coach role, with Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club in September.

You will all know Steve from his bright coloured poolside attire, but it was his coaching expertise, enthusiasm, his extensive knowledge and experience that has contributed to the success of the club over the years, producing a remarkable amount of competition level swimmers.

Steve has been instrumental to keeping the swimmers, parents and coaches alike motivated, to help BBFS become the established performance club that it is today.

With his unique approach to coaching and natural flair for putting both parents and his swimmers at ease, Steve’s departure will be deeply missed by all.

BBFS success over the years has been attributed very much by Steve’s hard work and dedication to the sport.

We will without doubt, miss Steve (and his bright shorts) on poolside, but wish him all the best for the future.
