Recognition for Bluefins in the Community

The Basingstoke A Place to be Proud of Awards, presented by TV Celebrity Anne Diamond at the Haymarket Theatre on June 5th, again recognised the continuing commitment by Bluefins swimmers to the wider community:

Zoe Sadler - Winner of the Basingstoke Ambassador Award in recognition of her outstanding achievement and fundraising by completing a solo cross-channel swim

Siobhan Harrison - Winner of the Young Achiever Award for overcoming onset disability and continuing to support the local swimming community by qualifying as a swimming teacher, lifeguard and official.

These successes follow on the heels of the club's members' recognition at the Basingstoke Sports Awards with a significant number of nominations:
