  1. All ages are as on 7th December 2008.
  2. All events will be decided on the basis of heat times, there will not be finals.
  3. Age groups will swim together, seeded by personal best and age.
  4. Over the top starts will be used.
  5. Medals will be awarded to the first, second and third placed swimmer in each event. Medals will be available for collection on the night of competition.
  6. Trophies will be awarded to the best overall girl and boy in each age group, based on British Age Group points as follows
    Best 50m swim + Best 100m swim (where applicable) + Best 200m swim + Best 400/800/1500m swim + Best Ind Medley swim
  7. Entry cards will NOT be used. Swimmers must register before the advertised time for the start of warm-up for each session. Swimmers arriving late may be accepted at the discretion of the promoter, but only for events where there is a spare lane.
  8. Entry fees: £4 per event up to maximum of £16 per entrant (£12 for the second entry from the same family, £10 for the third and subsequent entries from the same family).
  9. All entries must be posted to Mike Lambert, 79 Camrose Way, Basingstoke, RG21 3AW, to arrive by Friday 21st November at the latest. Alternatively, entries may be placed in the box at the Aquadrome on Friday 21st November before 8pm.
  10. A list of entries received for the 800m event will be posted on the club WEB site on Saturday 22nd November and for all other events on the Web site and on the notice board at the Aquadrome by Wednesday 26th November.
  11. Under no circumstances should entries be handed in via the club coaching staff.
